The following is as typed on a sheet of paper in the possesion on my Mother (Ann West) in 2004, which she gave to me. (See notes on paper at end) ----------------------------------------------------- Extract found in Flyleaf of Holy Bible of 1793. Elizabeth Weeks was born the 9 Day of August in the year of our Lord 1736 (or 1786). John Weeks was born the 6 Day of January in the year of 1788. 4 oClock in morning. Hannah Weeks was born the 4 Day November in the year of 1790. 2 oClock in morning. James Weeks was Born the 4 Day of September in the year 1797. 3 oClock in morning. William Weeks was Born the 2th Day January in the year of our Lord 1805. 12 oClock at Noon. Extract found at the commencement of the New Testament in the same Bible. Wm. Weeks was Born the 7 Day of November in the year of our Lord 1761. Hannah Prouting was Born on the 28 Day of July in the year 1762. Wm. Weeks and Hannah Prouting were married the 28th day of June in the year of our Lord 1786. ------------------------------------------------------------------ The paper is 8" wide and 12&7/16" long, looking like it might have been cut from a continuous roll, maybe in an office? Examining the Paper might give us an earliest time this might have been typed, helping us narrow down who wrote it. The paper has a watermark: >>> Kentish Wove Typewriting Shaw & Sons Fetter Lane E.C <<< Shaw and Sons is an old Stationers firm, established 1750, based in Crayford, Kent. They do a lot of supplies for legal offices, including legal paper. This all makes me suspect one of the Weeks soliciters, like William Self Weeks, or even William the elder.
